Hey, everyone! Today we sat with pro skateboarder Jake Hayes! Jake is an Australian native who turned his childhood hobby of skateboarding into a career. Jake spent much of his youth skateboarding in Sydney, Australia. In his early teens, he managed to get a sponsorship from DC Shoes and when he realized that he was able to get paid for skateboard, pushed harder and took it to the next level. Jake spent some time in the US skateboarding and was even on the Baker Summer Tour 2015. He decided to take the leap of faith and move to the US to pursue his dreams. Jake acquired a visa to move to the US where he became a pro skateboarder for Deathwish Skateboards. Since then, Jake has become tie for the World's Highest Ollie 45.5", toured the world skateboarding and has racked up sponsors such as New Balance Numeric, Dickie, Thunder Trucks, Spitfire Wheels, Sunday Hardware, Shake Junt, Liquid Death, ECT. Along with skateboarding, Jake has got bit by the automotive bug. The homie Jay introduced Jake to the car scene and it motivated Jake to get a couple project cars. Jake has 2 E30 BMW sedans and looks to further his hobby. Cars and skateboard go hand in hand and I am excited to see where the newly found passion takes him.
