On this week's episode of the Eight One Sixty, we wrap up the Concerts That Changed Your Life series with a deep dive from host and concert enthusiast Chris Haghirian!
The shows stretch from 1996 to 2005, from Lawrence to KC, over to Seattle, up to Minneapolis, and an insanely muddy weekend at Bonnaroo.
The show is so full of name drops and mentions. Here are some teases: Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Josh Ritter, Brandi Carlile, Mudhoney, Kurt Cobain, Coldplay, Peter Buck of R.E.M., William Elliott Whitmore, Beth Orton, Dave Matthews Band, John Butler Trio, Imogen Heap, Zoe Keating, The Frames, Tori Amos, Jónsi, The Chemical Brothers and probably some more too.
From Chris:
As I was recording this show it felt like I was reading from a diary or that it was a session with a therapist. It was a lot of fun and perhaps it explains a lot of things. I hope you can tune in today at 6 p.m. as I share stories from some of the concerts that changed my life.
