Then, use the A, B, C, D, E method for arriving at a solution. A - Anticipation - look for trends to understand what's going onB - Blend ideas and adopt a child-like perspectiveC - Create different conceptsD - Design the new brand ideaE - Execute on your idea Bob's process for coming up with new ideas. On a sheet of paper, draw a 3x3 grid. Above the grid, in the upper left hand corner, write the problem you're trying to solve. In the boxes on the left, write what you think might work. In the boxes in the middle, write why it would work. In the boxes on the right, write why it wouldn't work.
