Many creatures physically back up or run away when threatened, and at least psychologically, we have been conditioned to do the same. The conventional wisdom is to avoid, close down, contract, hate, object to, or resist the threatening element. This ALWAYS makes things worse in the long run. No matter how difficult or distressing a situation, it will ALWAYS change for the better if we open up to it, expand, accept and love all that is involved. 100% of the time!
