College football’s newest bowl game may be its most socially significant. The Cure Bowl, to be played in Orlando’s new Citrus Bowl starting in 2015, will raise awareness of and generate research funding for the fight against Breast Cancer. Executive Director Alan Gooch offers insights on the Cure Bowl’s creation and its true purpose. The American Athletic Conference –of which both UCF and USF are members--and Sun Belt Conference are committed to participate. Navy joins the AAC next year, as well.
