Radio Nederland Wereldomroep was vanaf 1947 de internationale publieke omroep van Nederland. De omroep maakte programma's in zes verschillende talen, waaronder Spaans, Zuidafrikaans en Bahasa, de officiële taal van Indonesië. In 2012 werd de Wereldomroep opgeheven. Dit is de 30e aflevering van Hallo Hier Hilversum, waarin Vincent Bijlo en Ger Jochems in de geschiedenis graven van 100 jaar radio in Nederland. Deze podcast is een productie van NTR en NPO Radio 1 in samenwerking met Beeld en Geluid.
