Pieta was allowed to write a speech about anything for the Rotary Speech Competition. However, the speech needed to meet the four international "Guiding Principles" of the Rotary:
Is it the TRUTH?;
Is it FAIR to all concerned?;
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?;
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Pieta subjected the test to the test.
