Raphael and I witnessed first hand the inequities in education. We share the importance of sticking together during a time the high school we attended was transitioning. Graduating from a phased-out/shut down high school revealed the disparities on who has access to quality education. The small things like proper textbooks, smartboards, and consistency in the athletic program confessed to us that certain students deserved a better high school experience. The memory of attending a high school in Brooklyn, NY, we thought this was the norm. It wasn’t until we started college, we began to reflect. Instagram: Izzy's Network
