Matthew 24:3-14 NIV
Premise ⁃ Fear of the end causes many to ignore the signs of the end not understanding that knowledge of the end prepares for the reality of the end otherwise you run the risk of missing the end.
Prophetic Insight
1. In order to prepare a strong defense against being deceived you must conquer ignorance that breeds fear and embrace truth that leads peace.
”Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name,
claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.“ Matthew 24:4-5 NIV
”Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it.“ Ecclesiastes 7:12 NIV

2. Signs are the indication, evidence and marking of an era, person, or moment that leads us in the direction of what MUST HAPPEN. Therefore we are NOT alarmed but understand that things MUST occur in order for the story of God to be completed.
”You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.“ Matthew 24:6 NIV
3. The Lord is birthing a new era! And like all births, contractions are present and stand as a signal that it’s almost time! With this hope we hold on to the promise of Christ returning tighter than we have before.
”Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.“

4. Although we don’t take it lightly, persecution comes with the territory. Therefore It is
incorrect for the disciple to expect to be liked or spoken well of. But be warned, never allow what others do or say make you turn away!
”“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,“ Matthew 24:9-10 NIV

5. The expectation of the Lord is that we would persevere through the times we live in
building endurance that produces patience. The secret is staying near the fire and building a firm and solid foundation that cannot be shaken!
”Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.“ Matthew 24:12-13 NIV
”Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
