Donald Trump returns to spot of assassination attempt in Butler, Pa.

Former president Trump was back in Butler, Pennsylvania, on the same grounds where a gunman tried to assassinate him in July. He was joined by running mate JD Vance and Tesla CEO Elon Musk to rally voters in the important swing state. He held a moment of silence at 6:11, the same time when the gunman opened fire that ended up taking the life of rally-goer Corey Comperatore. Trump spent most of the rally urging voters to deliver on Election Day. He's scheduled to campaign on the eastern side of the state later this week in Reading and Scranton. His opponent, Vice President Harris, was in Charlotte, North Carolina Saturday and visited a resource donation center amid the destruction in the state from Hurricane Helene. She thanked volunteers there for taking the time this weekend to serve their fellow Americans, and promised her and President Biden will help these communities in the long haul.
