Apostle Sonya L. Thompson was called into the ministry as a teacher, at the age of twenty-nine. Years later, she was ordained as a Pastor by world renowned minister of the gospel, Dr. Nasir Siddiki and affirmed as an Apostle Jerry D. Owens of Joshua Generation Outreach Church in Orlando, FL. She is also an entrepreneur, spiritual mother, and mentor.

Apostle Thompson is the head of the ARISE Apostolic Network which houses & facilitates other pertinent branches of the ministry to include: Arise Ministries International, ARISE Women International, ARISE School of the Prophets, Daughters of Zelophehad, and Deborah’s Army; all of which are geared toward the equipping, elevation, healing, and restoration of women in the body of Christ.
