The perfect storyboard is an illusion.

But you already know this – don't you?

You also know that storyboards are the craziest thing to create.

They require:

Creativity of all the four kinds (visual, textual, aural, and kinesthetic,) logic, smarts, empathy, passion, patience…and a few more attributes.

In this episode, we discuss the important dos and don’ts of writing good visual descriptions, onscreen texts, and programming notes or interactivity descriptions. So if you are an instructional designer who has storyboarded at least once, then this episode can help you enhance your storyboarding skills.

Warning: If you’ve never storyboarded before – this episode isn’t going to make a lot of sense to you. It assumes that you’ve been into eLearning storyboarding and want to go further.

I’d like to thank Tripti Saun, an instructional designer and curriculum developer from Mumbai, India (https://www.linkedin.com/in/tripti-saun-ba0052112/) for suggesting that I do a podcast on storyboarding.

If you enjoy this episode, please share the Learning Lights podcast with others who would like it or find it useful.

If you are listening to it on Apple Podcasts, please rate and review.

I’d also love to “hear” your thoughts. If you leave your voice comment at http://anchor.fm/learninglights, I would love to answer your queries in a future episode of this podcast.

And yes, if you and I are not connected on LinkedIn, please find me at: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shafali-r-anand/

Thank you!
