This week, we're discussing the Songbird and the Heart of Stone, the newest addition to the Crowns of Nyaxia series by Carissa Broadbent. Mische desperately seeks redemption from her god Atroxus, who abandoned her when she was turned into a vampire. The opportunity to redeem herself arrives when she is saved from execution by Asar, prince of the Shadow born vampires, who needs her for his own mission given to him by the goddess Nyaxia. Asar must resurrect Nyaxia's husband Alarus, but he cannot do it without Mische's help. What he does not realize is that Mische has a mission of her own from Atroxus to murder Alarus once he's been resurrected. Their missions will take them on a path to the Underworld and on a path to self-discovery. Join us!
