Join Lauren Burns and I as we discuss her extraordinary tale of being kidnapped by her own father one fate filled Halloween day at just Seven years old.
"Hi there! My name is Lauren Burns and I am a wife, a mom, and a full-time physical therapist living in sunny San Antonio, Texas. I feel incredibly blessed to be married to an amazing man and to have two wonderful boys, who are about to enter middle school.
Between juggling work, family, and all the activities that come with having kids, life can get pretty hectic. One of our favorite pastimes is cheering on our boys at their soccer games. But when we’re not on the soccer field, we love nothing more than to spend quality time at home, recharging and recovering from the busy week
Above all else, my top priority in life is my faith. I strive to put God before anything else and seek His guidance in everything I do. I have faced my fair share of challenges and difficulties, but through it all, I have learned the importance of keeping my eyes fixed on Jesus.
However, staying focused on my faith is not always easy. That’s why I rely on my Bible study group and my village of supportive friends to help me stay grounded in prayer and scripture. They provide the encouragement, accountability, and wisdom I need to keep growing in my relationship with God.
Without my village, I would feel lost. They are the ones who remind me of the power of prayer, offer a listening ear, and inspire me to keep seeking God’s truth. Through our shared love for Jesus, we encourage one another and strengthen our faith together."
