Aaron Nola struggled through 4.2ip Saturday night allowing 5 runs on 9 hits including two homers as the Philadelphia Phillies lost to the Marlins 9-5, halting Philly’s win streak at 6 games.

Nola threw 101 pitches over his brief outing and dropped to 12-7 on the season. The loss marked the first time he allowed 5 or more runs in a start since he allowed 8 runs against the Red Sox on June 13th.

The Phillies offense was led by a fun filled day for Garrett Stubbs who reached base twice on bunt singles, including an RBI bunt single and, thanks to a series of throwing errors, a bunt single that landed him on 3rd with a little league triple.

Bryson Stott and Nick Castellanos also gave the Phillies multi-hit games from the plate.
