Legacy toxicity is a term increasingly prevalent in organizational discourse. It refers to the deeply ingrained negative elements within a workplace's culture and practices. Not only is this the resulting legacy of poor leadership, but it can also be the result of a hidden agenda, a poorly managed acquisition, runaway silos, or poor leadership selection.
It is a disappointing realization that sometimes the grass is not always greener on the other side and can be the same old noxious weed patch.
