This episode is a call to action for my mama community! How often do we get asked the question, "how are you" or "how is/was your day", and what do we say 99.9% of the time?!
We say we’re good…when I KNOW we’re not good 99.9% of the time. I want us to normalize being honest when we’re not okay. When life is kicking our butt. When we are struggling.
It doesn’t mean we have to dump our personal lives on everyone, but we need to find safe places to be able to admit when we’re not okay. We don’t have to be superhuman all the time, at the end of the day we are also just human and that is okay!
Let’s make it easier for the next generation of moms to not always feel the pressure to put on a happy face and instead share the real, non-highlight-reel version of their life.
