In the 80’s there were a number of influential artists creating electronic songs. One of them was the Pet Shop Boys. Neil Tennant and Keyboardist Chris Lowe are a London-based duo who have made their mark in the music industry since their formation in 1981. Crafting an eclectic blend of pop, electronic and dance music. The Pet Shop Boys provided much more than just entertainment to their listeners - often including socially conscious messages about love, society and politics which earned them recognition globally. They are known for many classic hits like "It's a Sin" to "Go West". Another one of their greatest hits is “West End Girls” because of its social commentary. Take a listen to it here.
