Dellait Animal Nutrition & Health has introduced 3D camera technology to help dairy farmers manage their herds better. This advanced tool monitors key health factors like body condition and weight for improved productivity and overall cow health.

“This 3D camera has many uses on a dairy farm,” says Abbi Goldenberg, Dellait’s Business Development Manager. “It tracks body condition in heifers for breeding and monitors lactating cows’ health, detecting early signs of lameness."

By catching these early signs, farmers can act quickly, preventing more significant issues from developing. This technology helps improve feed efficiency and keeps cows healthier for longer, increasing overall profitability. “With rising costs, especially for replacement heifers, keeping cows in the herd longer is more important than ever," Goldenberg emphasizes.
