I got daddy issues but let me explain! My biological father @oleschoolpoet sits down and discussed the history of parenting in his household as a child and how that may have impacted him as a absent father and a struggling grandfather in my children, nieces and nephew’s lives. For years I struggled with my identity, not fully knowing who my father was and accepting the one I had due to his drug abuse. Over the years my dad and I didn’t always see eye to eye but we quickly realized through our differences we are able to find common ground in our poetry. Join us, as we discuss the trials and tribulations of having an absent father and the generational cycles we will be breaking by discussing our differences in opinions. If this doesn’t make you want to reconnect with your father or at least forgive him then you may need additional help.
