Danny talks to us about how he first got into management, the relationship he has with his players, Matvei Michkov coming over earlier than expected, Alexei Kolosov, extending Travis Konecny, the Flyers leadership group, and what it’s like sending a player down to the minors and using his own personal experience. Jumping over to his playing career Danny tells us about when he first started playing hockey, playing with an edge despite being a smaller player, starting with the Coyotes, being traded to the Sabres, signing with the Flyers, the 2008 season and Joffrey Lupul’s Game 7 overtime goal, the 2010 playoff run to the Stanley Cup Final starting with the game 82 shootout vs the Rangers, the 3-0 comeback vs the Bruins, the chemistry he had with Scott Hartnell and Ville Leino, and the 2012 season with the Flyers. He also shared stories about some of his favorite teammates and coaches. Finishing up the interview Danny gives us his expectations for the Flyers upcoming season. Nasty and Riles finish the show by answering fan submitted questions presented by Klyr Rum.
