Blair Imani is an American author, historian, and activist. She identifies as , Black, bisexual and Muslim. She is a member of the Black Lives Matter movement, and is known for protesting the shooting of Alton Sterling and Executive Order 13769 (The Muslim ban).
Rose tells us about the remarkable life and work of Jane Goodall. From an early age, Jane was fascinated by animals and the outdoors and fell in love with Africa. She made groundbreaking observations about chimpanzee behavior during her time at Gombe Stream Game Reserve in Tanzania, where she discovered that chimpanzees are omnivores and use tools. Jane went on to establish the Jane Goodall Institute and Roots & Shoots, which encourages young people to protect the environment, wildlife, and their communities. Her work as a scientist, conservationist, and activist has had a significant impact worldwide.
