George Elek is joined by Andy Holding to look ahead to this weekend's Scottish Grand National at Ayr.
It's an eight race card on Saturday with the highlight being the Grand National at 3.35. Last year's runner up Kitty's Light is currently the 9/2 favourite with our sponsors Unibet.
He'll be looking to go one better and warmed up nicely with a success in the Eider back in February. Monbeg Genius, Your Own Story and Dusart are also towards the top of the market after 23 were declared on Thursday morning.
It's Unibet ambassadors Nico de Boinville and Nicky Henderson who run top weight and course winner Dusart in the race. Their blogs to preview all of their Saturday runners will be live on Unibet on Friday, they'll be well worth reading after Nicky gave 28/1 winner Caribean Boy a great write up in Wednesday's blog ahead of racing at Cheltenham.
Unibet will also be offering extra places in the Scottish National – six places 1/5th odds T&Cs apply, as well as extra places on the 1.15pm, 1.50pm, 4.25pm
