Tanya Marwaha is an award-winning mental health, disability and suicide prevention advocate who is passionate about raising awareness of the interconnection between the mind and body.
Tanya struggled with her mental health from a young age and was undiagnosed for 7 years, and eventually was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at age 15.
During the pandemic, Tanya founded Championing Youth Minds which presently supports over 900 young people globally and founded Chronically Strong Blog which aims to help raise awareness surrounding chronic health conditions, invisible disabilities and mental health.
Tanya also strives to break down barriers of the cultural sensitivities around such topics and the stigma attached to mental health and disability in the South Asian community.
