The Gospel of Mark: Jesus Calms the Storm - Nate Miller

What do we do in storms? In difficulty? When it seems like we are going to drown. This week, Nate Miller continued in our sermon series through the book of Mark, looking at the story of Jesus calming the storm. The reaction of the disciples sharply contrasts with Jesus’ reaction - while one panicked in fear the other slept. Jesus rebuked them that their fear was because of a lack of faith in who He is. When we face trials and suffering in the storms of life, do we panic out of lack of faith in Jesus, or do we have peace knowing that Jesus is Lord over the storm? Our greatest hope is that Jesus is with us through every situation and is full of love and care for us. He will never leave us or forsake us.
