In two days, the seven eligible Republican presidential candidates will take the stage at the 2nd GOP Presidential Primary Debate at the Reagan Library. Once again, the GOP frontrunner, former President Trump will be absent from the debate stage as he travels to Michigan to address union workers amid the United Auto Workers strike.

This past weekend NBC News released polling data that showed President Biden and former President Trump in a dead heat, while an ABC News survey had the current president trailing the former president by ten percent. As GOP candidates prepare take the debate stage, how do they prove to voters that they will make their lives better than where they stood four years ago?

Republican Strategist and Co-founder of South & Hill Strategies, Colin Reed emphasizes that it’s an abundant of riches in the news cycle this week. From the looming government shutdown to Senator Bob Menendez being indicted on bribery charges, Washington has its hands full defusing little fires. One which being identifying viable Presidential candidates on both sides of the aisle who have not be subject to comments on their age or impeachment inquiries.

Uphill Battle: Colin who currently works for a Chris Christie-aligned SUPER PAC, offers insight on the Biden administration can reestablish President Biden as candidate that can finish the job.
