The KYW Newsradio All-Local: Friday, September 20th, 2024 (Evening Edition):

  • Pennsylvania State Police troopers are asking for the public's help in finding the person responsible for a double homicide along the Blue Route in Delaware County a week ago. KYW Newsradio’s John McDevitt has more from Troop K in Media.

  • Five years after it shut down, there are plans to restart one of the nuclear plants at Three Mile Island. KYW Newsradio's Mike DeNardo reports.
  • Volunteer fire companies throughout the state of Pennsylvania are receiving millions in funds to help them serve their communities. A large portion of that funding will go to companies in the Philly region. KYW Newsradio’s Sunny Morgan has more.

  • Blood spots are collected from every baby born in New Jersey and tested for diseases. Lawmakers say those samples have been used in criminal investigations without a warrant. Now, they have introduced legislation to change that. More on this from KYW Newsradio South Jersey reporter Mike Dougherty.
