Welcome to podcast Season 1 Episode 8, covering the subject of coaching (49 mins). Coaching and mentoring go hand in hand and are important leadership concepts to inform your police promotion preparation to Sergeant, Inspector, or Chief Inspector. It is essential to police leadership CPD but also to the Competency & Values Framework behaviour, 'We are emotionally aware'. For example, consider the promotion board question, "What have you done to develop yourself or anyone else in the last 12 months?" Note also my recently-published SWOT analysis template can be used as a CPD self-coaching tool.
