“The Set of Poe” (1903) by George Ade. Read by Mark Redfield (Ep 22-11) This whisp of a story about a man who’s imagination runs away with him at Christmas, creating doubts in his mind as to whether his wife loves him (over his wish to buy a collected set of the works of Edgar Allan Poe!), was published in 1903.
