How to Lead Purpose-Driven & Fulfilling Life? | Acharyasri Dr. Sachidananda Bharathi | #reedmystory Acharyasri Dr. Sachidananda Bharathi (also known as 'Swami Sachidananda Bharathi' and 'Air Force Baba') is a former Indian Air Force Squadron Leader turned promoter of an integral spirituality of love, peace and sustainable development. An encounter with death in an air accident in 1982 was the 'turning point' in his life. He left his Air Force career and family life behind and ventured on a spiritual quest with the permission of his IRS officer wife in 1989. He has lived life experiences of the truth, goodness and beauty of Christianity, Hinduism, Islam & Sikhism. He has travelled widely and has authored more than 20 books. He has initiated five Ashrams, 2 Missions and three Training Insitutes in India. He was one of the invitees from India for the 'Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders' organised by the United Nations in New York in August 2000. He was also a signatory to the 'Commitment to Global Peace' signed by the religious and spiritual leaders of the world at the UN. He was awarded a Honorary Ph.D by Concordia Open University in 2019. His latest book is titled 'The Story of My Spiritual Quest for Grace & Peace'. His latest initiatives are 'National Unity Forum' (NUF) and 'Greater India Movement' (GIM) for the social and moral freedoms of India.
