Dunlevie Family Head Football Coach Mike Bloomgren wraps up the end of the Owls season and previews the SERVPRO First Responders Bowl.
Coach Bloomgren is proud of the Owls late season push to gain bowl eligibility. He breaks down the retirement of J.T. Daniels, the progression of A.J. Padgett and juggling Signing Day with preparations for Texas St.
Running back Juma Otoviano reflects on his six years at Rice, from his freshman year game vs ODU to his plans after graduation and his bond with Dean Connors. He expects to have a lot of family at the bowl game.
Wide receiver Luke McCaffrey says he owes a lot to Coach Bloomgren and OC Marques Tuiasosopo. He is appreciative of being named first-team all-conference and he is looking forward to the East-West shrine game.
“Tuy” follows with kind words about Otoviano, McCaffrey, the other guys he coaches and his offensive staff. He breaks down the resurgent running game and his initial thoughts of the Texas St. defense.
