In this episode, I'm sharing an excerpt from my recent live workshop: How to Ace Your End-of-Year Review.
(Please note the live role-play portion of the workshop has been edited out to protect the volunteers.)
You'll learn:

  • Why it matters to frame your self-advocacy as an act of service that benefits both you and your organization
  • What to say and in what order, when you use proven negotiation strategies, like articulating your value and future potential and asking for a pay raise, promotion, or resources
  • What three most common pushback you can anticipate when you're missing the "sweet spot" and how to ensure you sidestep them
  • How to get more curious, not furious when you do encounter anything less than a committed yes, so you can guide the conversation to creative problem solving and follow-through
  • Two evidence-based ways to calm yourself down ahead of or during a high-stakes conversation, so you can think most clearly and be most effective in your workplace negotiation

As an executive coach for women, I'm super passionate about helping smart women who hate office politics get promoted and better paid.
I do this through my unique combination of:

  • Self-directed neuroplasticity tools backed by science
  • Negotiation strategies proven to work for women by academic research
  • Intersectional feminist lens that honors women’s real, lived experiences
