Shoshanna, who co-founded ‘Chochmat Nashim’ An organisation working to raise awareness, expose injustice and rectify bad policy in modern day Judaism, has dedicated years to fighting religious extremism.

In our conversation, Shoshanna shares a compelling inside look at life in the ultra-Orthodox communities of Beit Shemesh, Israel, and explores the social tensions between these communities and the broader Jewish population. She delves into the dangers of erasing women’s presence from public life, her tireless fight against extremism, and the impact of October 7th on Israeli society through a feminist lens.
