Happy First of July and belated Juneteenth! July 4th is just around the corner! Welcome back to Saucy but Sweet with Ali McPherson. This week we will be discussing what it means to practice self-care and wellness during such a traumatic yet most important time in history. We are still trying to find the balance between staying woke, and staying well, especially during a long global lockdown. Between the lockdown and dealing with the continued oppression of all of my Black men, women, and LGBTQ+ folks, it’s easy to forget to take care of yourself.
