In today's episode, our host Claire Mattes speaks with Diya Abdo about her new book American Refuge, which tells the stories of refugees who have been relocated to the United States through Diya's organization Every Campus a Refuge. They talk about the importance of humanizing refugee's stories and maintaining their dignity in telling these stories. Diya also explains the purpose and functions of her organization on college campuses, as well as the impact it has had on the students involved.
