We talked about the apostle Paul… horrendous life of torture, unfair evil against him… and suffering… yet he said Imitate me… be like me… he never blamed God and always shared Christ as his main purpose in life.

Who is a man… a man’s man?

Now I know all but one of the disciples were martyred and they are men of men… but what I mean is those men who had to deal and are dealing continually with seemingly overwhelming life circumstances… but still push forward and hold no ill will. They did not let their plight- no matter how hard or unfair it was stop them from fulfilling their purpose.

Nick voicheck… What were the thoughts he had growing up… never married, no kids, no job… Now speaks to millions, beautiful wife and kids. Extremely financially set for life… impacting kids and audiences around the world.

Be like Nick… he’s a man.

Nelson Mandela - falsely accused, life sentence for standing up against apartheid- 27 years in prison… and never an ill word towards those who did that to him. And then he still went after life with ambition to change the world. Democratically Elected as the first black president…

He is someone you should be like.

A man in Turkey was imprisoned and told to deny Christ… he would not, they torutured him continually, he would not do anything other than tell his captors how much Jesus Loved them. They brought in his wife and raped her repeatedly and he would not deny Christ… he instead preached Gods love to her while the guards continuously used her… they finally killed her. He would not deny Jesus. They brought in his young son… who was confused. They tried to convince his son that his father did not love him… they tortured his son… the man would still not deny Christ. They killed his son… and the man wept for the guards to come to Christ… Thats a man - be like him

I broke my neck in 3 places, I have had 4 tumors… still 2 are in my head - one in my brain. My arms have gone paralyzed and my stomach has had over 20 hernias, I have had 3 cancers, 20 surgeries, 16 months of chemo, I have gone bankrupt once, I have had friends and family turn on me. My marriage at one point almost ended. My youngest son ran from God and lived an extremely sinful life. I have been fired from a church after lies were told. I was forced to leave another church due to untrue allegations about me hitting on a women sexually. I have an enlarged heart that causes a few problems… and the list could go on and on. I know of others that are still far and above me in the “life is unfair” category… I say this humbly… I don’t care about any of this- or what has happened to me. I simply want to reach people for Jesus and I hold no ill will towards Christ… we live in a sinful world… satan knows I am all in for Jesus… so I get it… Im a target.

I hope you can say what I am about to say… Be like me! Be like Jesus.
