In this conversation, she talks about the evolution of the managerial role in the practice as the practice matures and grows, the characteristics of a valuable practice manager, the mistakes that both she and others have made when filling the practice manager role in the office, and the importance of the practice owner's vision for how they want the practice to function. She also shares how to think about creating a job description (and why you should use a templated job description as a starting point for creating your customized version) and how you can use an honest conversation with your practice manager to align expectations in your office...ultimately using that conversation as the launch point for future performance and goal reviews.
