Cool Benson is a multifaceted talent in Hollywood, known for his diverse roles as a makeup artist, actor, writer, songwriter, producer, cheerleader, performer, and TV dadager. Cool has more than 20 years of industry experience and his eye for detail and ability to create intriguing makeup looks have positioned him as an innovative professional in the entertainment industry. Being a Black queer makeup artist, Cool specializes and is often hired for his ability to do makeup on all skin tones and people of color.

He is recognized for his significant contributions to major productions, including as the personal makeup artist to Emmy-nominee Moses Ingram on Apple TV’s new series, Lady in the Lake, as well as Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi, and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Throughout his career, he has worked with notable figures like Prince, Laurieann Gibson, Taraji P. Henson, Brandy Norwood, and was the personal makeup artist to Dr. Phil for 7 years. , showcasing his ability to enhance the looks of some of the industry’s most prominent personalities.
