Here we discuss chapter 9 and 10 in which Georgia risks being sued for malpractice, and Harry commits insurance fraud and harassers the dead.

Dead Beat Chapter 9 Summary:

Harry and the Alphas leave the area and go to Georgia’s parent’s home. Georgia and Billy are concerned for Harry and worried about his recent changes in behavior. Dresden comes clean about the coin from the fallen and that he may be under influence of the demon Lasciel.

Dead Beat Chapter 10 Summary:

Georgia and Billy lend Harry her SUV after driving him back to his newly abused Blue Beetle. Harry calls on Mortimer and asks him for the assistance of the spirits to find the necromancers. Mort declines until he finds out that Murphy is involved. Mortimer calls upon the spirits and they find not only one Necromancer but six.
