014: Branding Unmasked with G Sabini-Roberts
Manage episode 385283449 series 3294647
You’re in for a treat this week. My guest G Sabini-Roberts is a brand designer, writer, trainer, speaker, activist and agender creative rockstar.
Their unique and lightning-fast visual brand work is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. And it keeps me coming back for more. This episode is especially delicious for neurodivergent friends who live with autism, ADHD and other forms of neurospiciness.
Get ready to hear G’s take on:
- The role of gender in branding (spoiler: there is none)
- Why building a brand that requires you to pretend or “mask” will hold you back
- Creating safe, inclusive communities
- The power of asking WHY? And asking again
- How their autism shaped their work, with amazing results for business, their clients and their family
G are the founder of Branding by G, co-Founder of Queer Box, creator of Happy Families - Progress Edition and Co-Editor of Neurodiverse Entreprenenurial Awesomeness.
G has been in branding for 25 years and running their own brand design business since 2012, helping hundreds of businesses to grow show-stopping brands.
They have been running events, training and facilitating spaces in and for the LGBTQ community since 1996 and in academic and business settings since 2004.
G loves rocking up in other people’s spaces to inspire, educate and entertain. As a queer, agender, neurodiverse, business owner with decades of industry and activism experience – and zero filter – it won’t come as a surprise that they have plenty to say.
