Welcome to another episode of FCMO Marketing Leadership for Investors in Business and today we are joined by Mitchell Goldman. He is the Co-founder and COO at Volta, an interactive music experience company that helps artists create mixed reality events, through a simple digital platform.

Background

Mitchell has a varied background as a race car driver, an investment banker and a musician. Having studied economics and worked at big banks like Barclays, Mitch decided to put his knowledge to use during the pandemic towards building the next generation of interactive music technology, leading to the development of Volta XR.

VXR and the upcoming mixed reality music space

Understanding the changing global structure of media and it’s various intersections in music, video and digital landscaping, is crucial in building the next immersive experience. In a post-pandemic world, where the end consumer was left feeling isolated and at distance, technologies like Volta bridge the gap between artists and their fans through bringing accessibility to live events at a much larger scale. Understanding the changing needs of the 2020 consumer in the music field was fundamental in his insights for the developing venture.

A lucrative idea, but one that required an enormous investment of mind, money and time, Mitchell managed to bring the idea to reality after a thorough test and trial of key concepts in business, economics, technology and the developing Web 3.0 world. Learning from his collaborative efforts, we can see where technology interacts with the post-pandemic world of increased global connectivity, and how that translates into effective marketing and business.
