Originally from Queens, she has served as a special education teacher, and an adjunct professor at The City College of New York and Hunter College in NYC teaching brand new teachers. With a Master’s in Special Education from City College of New York, Channon combines expertise in equity advocacy, trauma-informed practices, and inclusive curriculum design, fostering collaborative learning environments that respect cultural competence and individual student needs.
