We are excited to announce a special episode of "I Am The Universe with Martin Cowart" featuring a very special guest, Jenn T. Grace, a Certified B Corp. Grace. Jenn is an award-winning author, nationally recognized speaker, and savvy publishing strategist who is passionate about leveraging the power of the pen to give other disruptors, change agents, and thought leaders a platform to amplify their voices through publishing.

Previously on the show, Martin had a conversation with Carlos Legaspy, President and CEO at InSight Securities, President and CEO of Insight Securities and author of the book "Going for Broke," about the passing of the Anti-Homosexuality Bill 2023 in Uganda, which makes being gay punishable by death. This is a horrifying violation of human rights and demands urgent attention from the international community. In this week's episode, Martin and Jenn will continue the conversation, exploring ways to respond to this crisis with compassion and empathy.

Jenn is a thought leader, change agent, and influencer who will offer her unique perspective on how we, as a humanitarian and philanthropic society with the freedom of speech, can best respond to the humanitarian crisis in Africa caused by the Ugandan Parliament's passing of the Anti-Homosexuality Bill 2023.During the episode, Martin will also talk about how to support the humanitarian effort to save lives, including making a donation to The Diamond Mine Academy, a non-profit organization working to save the lives of the most vulnerable people, especially LGBTQ African refugees and asylum seekers.

This is not just an attack on the LGBTQ community, but on humanity itself, and we must respond with compassion and humanity.

Listeners will come away from this episode with a deeper understanding of the situation in Uganda and the urgent need to act. They will be inspired to take action themselves, whether by raising awareness, donating to organizations that are working to support LGBTQ+ communities, or speaking out against discrimination and violence.

So join Martin and Jenn for this important conversation about the Anti-Homosexuality Bill 2023 in Uganda, and let's work together to create a more just and equitable world for all. The episode will air this coming Friday, May 5, at 12:30 PM EDT/7:30 PM EAT.
