Healthcare shuold be prevention from illness and medical care should be when an emergancy arises. If we are guarding our body as God intended we are designed to fend off sickness and health issues. Philo of Alexandria said, "The body is the soul's house, therefore, shouldn't we take care of our house so it doesn't fall into ruin?"
In this episode of Return to New Life, Ms. Karon gives us insight that it's not just body care, but soul care while reminding us from Scripture how we should take care of our bodies and choose life. Our spiritual selves need our house to be in order, and our "home" needs us to align our soul selves with our Creator for the balance that makes for a good relationship with Him.
