Manage episode 407408381 series 3559858
Kekri was one of the biggest Pagan holidays celebrated in ancient Finland. Kekri was not a communal holiday - it was a Family holiday. In other words, the window for celebrating Kekri was generally the first two weeks in November. There were no grand gatherings. Finnish Pagans celebrated within the Family sometime within those two weeks. It was customary for the Family to first complete their harvest work, then celebrate Kekri.
