When you’re looking to grow your referral network, which is better: darts or data? That is, is it better to throw darts at a board and hope you hit something, or use data to drive your strategy?

In this episode, we dive into how to expand your referral network beyond your local market by using data-driven metrics. Kilene and Kelly cover proven strategies that use data to drive results:

  • Look for trends in migration patterns using national moving company websites or talking to your broker.

  • Identify areas where people are moving from and to, then find agents in those areas you'd build connections with.

  • Phone calls are the best way to initiate contact, but handwritten notes and social media connections show you care.

By treating these agents like valued clients, you'll nurture relationships that can blossom into mutually beneficial referrals.
