Snarky Puppy真是爵士明星乐队，去年这张“Empire Central”被称为“对达拉斯丰富的黑人音乐历史的致敬”，格莱美拿到手软，前两月还去了上海爵士音乐节，碰到这种机会真应该多怂恿人去看看，确实好听又喜庆，要放起来过节。其他几张Jazz/Funk/Fusion方向的专辑可能没那么有名，但也可以拿来跟Snarky Puppy做个对应。
比如开场的“Hi Ho Silverstein”，管风琴Larry Goldings和鼓手Jack DeJohnette、吉他大师John Scofield在06年现场录音“Trio Beyond - Saudades”得到格莱美最佳器乐爵士专辑提名，20年开始与洛杉矶funk乐队Scary Goldings合作，又有John Scofield参与。还有又是德州的，Black Pumas的Adrian Quesada的个人专辑“Jaguar Sound”整张专辑一循环，节就过了一半。Bigga Bush = Magic Drum Orchestra。
最后是电音组合Soul Central跟歌手Jennifer Wallace合作的disco/house福音“Work It Out”
