已被軟禁十個月的前緬甸國家領導人翁山蘇姬週一被判入獄兩年，其餘指控預計下週出庭，最高刑期超過 100 年，引起國際一片譴責。今年二月軍事政變後，緬甸人民與軍政府衝突不斷升級，流亡反對派發言人告訴國際媒體，目前的狀況不反抗就只會死亡。
