Chef Dale MacKay is the co-owner and co-founder of the Grassroots Restaurant Group, a Saskatchewan company that owns and operates four restaurants in Saskatchewan: Ayden Kitchen & Bar, Little Grouse on the Prairie, Sticks and Stones, and Avenue. Chef MacKay sits down with Dale Richardson to discuss his life and career, including dropping out of school and leaving Saskatoon at 15 years old, his first restaurant experiences, how he got a job at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in London, his experience on Top Chef Canada, and why he decided to come back to Saskatchewan and stay here.
