Have you ever met anyone who’s worked for the United Nations or been part of any of its programs? Well, you may have seen and heard some ‘important’ ones in the news. Now, meet one of the not important, a worker bee, and some of the incredible people in her life, the colorful, ‘motley crew’, that broke down the bubble she lived in, led her to that institution, and has helped the international system functioning. And, if you think that is not important, she’ll let all of us know, in future broadcasts, why we should celebrate that United Nations is with us, and maybe even get a cake with candles for October 24, when it turns 75.
